Entering Your Billing Details Into Google Ads

 

If we’ve created your Google Ads account for you, we’ll invite you to be an admin/owner of the account. You’ll need to accept your invitation before entering your billing.

1. Sign in to your Google Ads account (go to ads.google.com).

2. Click “Tools & Settings” (the spanner icon) in the top right-hand corner of the screen.

3. Under Billing, select “Settings”.

4. Follow the prompts to enter your billing information.

How To Find Your Customer ID in Google Ads

Your Customer ID is a unique 10-digit number for your Google Ads account. We’ll need this in order to request access.

1. Sign in to your Google Ads account (go to ads.google.com).

2. Look in the top right-hand corner of the screen for a 10 digit number.

Once you’ve provided us with your Client ID we’ll send a request to access your Google Ads account.

1. Navigate to the access area of your Google Ads account. You can navigate this either through the email you’ve been sent or straight from your Google Ads account.

2. In the “Managers” tab, click “Accept” on the request from Vine Street Digital.

3. You’ll see a pop-up. Click “Grant Access”.

Google Analytics Linking

 

1. Sign in to your Google Analytics Account (go to https://analytics.google.com/).

2. Navigate to “Admin” in the bottom-left corner.

3. Select “Account User Management” on the far-left-hand column.

4. Select the blue “+” button in the top right-right corner and select “Add Users”.

5. Enter the email(s) your specialist has given you. Check the boxes next to “Edit”, “Collaborate”, and “Read & Analyse”. You can also give us Manage User permissions but this isn’t required. Once you’ve checked the boxes, click “Add” in the top right-hand corner.

Google Tag Manager Linking

 

1. Sign in to your account (Go to https://tagmanager.google.com/).

2. Click “Admin” at the top of your screen.

3. Select “User Management” on the Account column (far left-hand column).

4. Click the blue “+” button in the top right-hand corner. Click “Add users”.

5. Enter the email(s) your specialist has given you. Check the boxes next to “Administrator” and “User”. Next to “Container Permissions” click “Set all”.

6. In the pop-up, make sure all four boxes are checked and click “Done”.

7. Click “Invitation” in the top right-hand corner.

Google Merchant Center Linking

 

1. Sign in to your account (Go to merchants.google.com).

2. Click the spanner in the top right-hand corner of your screen. Click “Account access”.

3. You’ll be prompted to sign in again (this is an extra security measure).

4. Click the blue “+” and enter the email address given to you by your specialist. Then click “Add User”.

5. Check both “Admin” and “Standard” checkboxes and toggle on “Mandatory service announcements” only. Then click “Add User”.

Facebook Business Manager Linking

TIP: If you reach step 2 and you don’t see a business listed, it either means you’ve signed into the wrong account or you don’t have a Business Manager. We highly recommend setting up a Business Manager and adding all your business’s assets to it. You can follow the instructions to Create A Business Manager and then add Employees, your Facebook Page, your Ad Account, your Instagram Account. If you don’t have a pixel set up, you can follow instructions here.

1. Sign in to your account (Go to https://business.facebook.com/ and click “Log In” in the top right-hand corner). You may have to complete two-factor authentication.

2. Click on the business you want to share. Note that this step may only appear if you are linked to multiple Facebook Business Managers.

3. Click on “Business settings” in the left-hand panel.

4. Under “Users” click “Partners”. Click the blue “Add” button underneath “Partner to share assets with”.

5. Add Vine Street Digital’s business ID 503672719795803 and click “Next”.

6. You’ll now assign assets to us. We’ll need all your assets with full permissions. We’ll need your Page, Ad Account, Catalogue, Apps, Pixels, Instagram Accounts and Leads Access.
Note: Your business may not have all these assets. For example, lead generation clients won’t have a catalogue. If this is the case, simply skip to the next asset.

7. Once you’ve done assigning us all the assets, click “Save Changes” in the bottom right-hand corner of the pop-up.

8. Select the first three options in the “How Will You Work With Vine Street Digital?” screen. Then click “Next”.

9. Click “I Accept” in the Terms for Sharing a Data Source screen.

10.Click “Done”.
