How To Find Impression Share In Google Ads
You might have come here via our post on What Impression Share Is & How To Improve It. If not, check it out for more information about what you can do with what we’re sharing below! For now, here’s how to find Impression Share metrics in Google Ads.
We’ve included screenshots from both the previous Google Ads interface and the new one. All you need to do is click on the Columns option, then Modify Columns, then look for the Competitive Metrics section.
There are slightly different options for viewing Impression Share (IS) metrics depending on whether you’re viewing the account by Campaigns, Ad Groups, or Keywords.
Modify Columns – New Interface
Click on the three vertical rectangles to find the “Modify columns” option and click that to bring up the options.
This account is viewing by ad groups which provides four options. Tick any/all of the boxes for IS metrics you wish to see.
Modify Columns – Previous Interface
Same again here, click on Columns > Modify Columns to bring up the options.
This time we’re viewing by keywords, which provides just these three options below. Click on them to add them to the columns list on the right.
